- Waist casing strip: 5 cm × (waist seam + 3 cm), about 5 × 113 cm for size 40

Sewing steps
- Top: cut the front and back on the fold and join the shoulder and upper-sleeve seams.
- Cut the neck binding on the bias, join it into a loop, stitch it to the neckline, turn it in and secure.
- Stitch the top’s side and underarm seams and clip the underarm corner.
- Bottom: attach the pocket bags at the pocket notches on the side edges, then sew around the bags.
- Stitch the outer seams, leaving the pocket openings open, then the inner leg seams.
- Turn one leg inside the other and sew the crotch seam in one pass.
- Waist: stitch the bodice to the trousers along the waist seam. The pattern is drafted so both edges are exactly the same length.
- Stitch the casing strip over the waist seam on the inside, thread the elastic and join the ends.
- Hem the sleeves and legs with a 1 + 1 cm double fold and give everything a good press.
How to print and assemble the PDF
- Open the pattern PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and print at 100% / Actual size on A4 or US Letter paper. Do not choose “fit to page”.
- Measure the 5 × 5 cm test square on the info page. If it is off, check your printer scaling before printing the rest.
- The pattern prints on 44 pages including the cover and info page. Trim the right and bottom margin of each tile, match the letters and numbers (A1, A2…) and the ⊕ corner targets, and tape the pages together.
- Trace your size using the size line key – each size has its own color and dash style. The 1 cm (3/8 in) seam allowance is already included.
Tips
- Mark the pocket and crotch notches with chalk or a snip – they make assembly much easier.
- Try the jumpsuit on before closing the elastic and adjust the length for a comfortable fit.
- If you are petite or tall, shorten or lengthen the legs at the hem. One meter of viscose is enough for about 25 cm of extra length on both legs in most sizes – check with the Fabric Yardage Calculator.
